sounds like hes gonna be a real big dog, if hes that size and lean at his age, little bit questionable if hes pure.

credit where credits due, veigas, you hung in there, and have come a way since it all started, keeplistening and learning. a bit of tough love never hurt anybody who needed to hear it.:)

Why would one need a game bread dog for weight pull , I mean like if you went back to the 50 60 70’s and took the best dog of the day , what you gona do pull weight with it. any way a dog that pulls well ,does that make them Game?

Mind clarifying? This is my first even pitbull so help me here. Are they supposed to be fat at this age? I feed him on a set diet. Hes got nice muscle definition, hes nice and lean, his head is coming in well. Hes not very tall yet but hes not short. i will show some pics after i take some today. But if you could clarify that up for me it would be great, thanks.

nothing to realy clarify mate, thats pretty heavy for his age in my opinion, ive never had a male that weight at that age, keep in mind i like my small dogs, so dont take it for gospel im sure there are others on here who could say they have. just an opinion mate. at the end of the day you are enjoying your dog and thats the main part, im looking forward to seeing your new pics.

Oh ok, i just thought there might be something i was missing. I know hes pretty heavy, i hear about most peoples 6 month pups weighing in the twenties.

Because of the heart, it is hard to come by in this department with mediocre bred dogs.

I had a dog who I don’t have now , but last winter I needed help pulling this heavy couch to the dumpster in the snow well I hitched her up and with a collar no less, she helped me pull that couch to the dumpster dragged it in the snow with a harness she could have be in that game , she love to pull she was a beautiful dog with hart , but you might of felt different concerning her but for me she was a gem

That's why I said "hard to come by" not "impossible to come by"
Look, I have a mutt with tons of drive, and I want her to put that to work that's why I choose the WP. And believe me, that mutt means a lot to me no game-bred pretty papered dog will substitute her :)

I have some nice Harness’s I would like to try the WP sport but I most likely don’t have the goods (dog) I sort of realize now I have had 3 dogs that loved to pull during a walk and when they saw that’s what you wanted the dogs loved it . In the 1995 I had a dog Chuck well I ran out of gas in my truck. I walked to the station filled up a 3 gallon can and started walking, Didn’t take long till I said screw this, I had a walking harness on him I took the gas can tied it in such a way that he was carrying it on his shoulder, I was able to distribute some of the weight back on to the leash so we both worked the can . I just remember the dog doing his job, no fear looking as what was on his shoulder . I had some dogs that I know the first thing they would do is try to get out of the collar.
I might be rambling but I guess the first step to see if you got a WP dog is the wiliness to pull with out looking at what is slowing them down I have had dogs that way and some that would look at me are you kidding .

WP is legal so that’s a good thing, and food and conditioning come in to play worth looking into for me

Viegas... I even have to admit. you ahve come along way. when we bumped heads in the past I figured you would just stay "Dumb" and never attempt to truly educate yourself. I'm impressed with your turn around and hope you continue. Good luck.
