Come out west and plenty of old timers keep a proven Colby dog or two. The folks I know wont be found on the internet disrespecting any line of dogs either. As a matter of fact they wouldnt talk about any other bloodline except their own. If you out pull them they'll shake your hand and thank you. That shows what type of gents they are, dogmen with class. I know a kennel down in mexico who wants to bring some Colby blood into their program if I put the name out there everyone knows of them but I wont we've talked about the blood time and time again. They didnt once utter a word about %, or what the blood is or is not doing other than getting the blood right. A true class act. There is plenty of love for the Colby dogs in the states and all over the world. Open your eyes and you might see that.

Every dog and bloodline was a cross at some point even Colby dogs. Ill put it like this bet you cant find any other line as pure who can compete with them. Now if your going to use your crosses such as Chinaman (Carver/Eli)
or Jeep (COLBY/Eli) then your cheating...lol Gotta be a level playing field meaning if we have to use PURE you should too. As far as statistics go anyway. Look at the number one dog on the ROM list in the SDJ JEEP.
He's a Colby cross. Meaning Colby lines contribute as much or more as anyother line.

That said, lets stay on point and not split hairs by saying the Jeep blood etc... you know what I mean by " Colby" a dog from Lou with his name in every spot for the first 2 generations, 4 grandparents and the 2 parents.

No need to mention a proven animal or the nameless underground person no one ever heard of etc... again you know what I mean. Its a simple non pointed question that should be simple to answer. If the last name Weaver is attached to the dog its a fake title cause he was exposed in Carolina long ago.

I haven't the time nor the inclination to go back n' forth. If someone asked the same question for nearly any other bloodline I could simply and quicky answer the question but when it comes to a Colby dog I simply cannot answer it.
