Benny but these mastiff breeds dont have the gameness //// intensity //// drive that apbt bulldogs tend to have. Some folks may feel bulldogs are harder to handle.

 

Dude, a lot of these dogs weigh what grown men weigh. Handling a 50lb gamedog is not the same as Handling a 120+ dog of any breed. You can fight back on a 50lb dog for a little bit. You have no chance unarmed against one of these man stoppers. They will bringing you to the ground fast. I would take my chances with an APBT before I would any of them huge ass dogs. Sure, both can kill you but that large dog is going to totally overpower you way faster and more efficiently than any 50lb would.

I've always wanted a large breed guard dog like a Presa or a Caucasian Shepard but they are far more dog than I want to handle. I'll stick with my 40lbers and leave the protection work to Ruger. I'd imagine the pile of dung these types of dogs leave is simular to that of a horse. Lol.

old battle dogs were nothing more than working bulldogs and mastiffs, they werent magic, they just had better genetics due to being bred for combat.

i know, i am talking more about muscle definition, its really hard to bulk up without gaining some fat on the way, but some fighters look shredded like bodybuilders. huge MFs with low percentage of fat. At the top level in combat wrestling (probably the hardest sport on earth) since he was a little kid. Countless world championships and pedigree. He transitioned late to mma in his 30s after olympics and excelled quickly against much larger clearly roided fighters. He became the first double defending champion at heavyweight. Won championships at LHW too going down there because his friend was heavyweight champ. Hes one of the most tested combat athlete if not the most. Hes clean and id say 99% of combat athletes are not clean. Excelling in such a brutal sport even in his 40s.
