There is a fun show in Forsyth, GA this weekend. You should try to stop by.

By the way, do you have ped online on any of your dogs? You claim to have dogs from these lines but you only have two peds listed on your site and I am having a hard time tracing these lines back to the peds you listed.

I fail to see how anyone was being harshed. If anything, everyone was nice enough to warn you that you were going to be busted out for peddling. I think they did you a favor.

Here is my Sorrells boy with a Carver cross a few gens back.

I just wanted to mention that different people define "proven" differently. When I think "proven," I think of dogs who've proven their working ability, strength, stamina, agility, trainability, correct structure, etc. in legitimate working/show venues. I use it as a catch-all term to seperate dogs who've had something done with them to establish their abilities, rather than a dog that's sat in a kennel for 3 years and then been bred because someone liked the pedigree, or they needed a down payment on a car. I would consider my dog "proven" with everything she's accomplished.

ETA: You guys have some good shows down there. Our local club doesn't host hardly any fun classes.

  12. i do apologizefor my words. i would really like to get along with everyone in here. i guess i should thank everyone. and i am not puppy peddling. i have 1 litter, which is my first litter since 2005. and as far as the response on my comment of "in the business since 2003" i have dealt with these dogs since i came into this world, my family has dealt with them, both breeding and rescuing them for many many years. i have only owned my own kennel since 2003. nad it's crenshaw's gator, so you know. i'm not trying to be rude, just clearing the air. and as for proven, as in weight pull and out of state shows. i will post more peds asap. thanks for everyone's help and advice. i look forward to meeting many more people on here.

Well, this may sound harsh but I will try to be as nice about it as possible. People aren't going to like the idea of you breeding blues here. I, among others, feel that there is no reason to breed dogs for color other than money and that makes you a peddler.

Also, I found the ped on your "sorrells/carver" dog. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=224307

Hate to tell you, but you can't call that dog a Sorrells/Carver dog just because Sorrells and Carver pops up a couple of times 12 gens back on one side. That blood is pretty much non-existant in your dog. To call that dog a Sorrells/Carver dog, its ped needs to look somewhat like what GApits posted. I have no idea what lines to call that dog but it is definitely NOT a Sorrells/Carver dog.

I don't know what I'd call that dog. The top side is completely UKC show stock - Sarona, Hazard Jo, Tufftown, etc. The bottom side IS Carver/Sorrell, but the Sorrell comes in starting in the 6th generation, the Carver is even more far back & both are mixed w/ other bloods as well.

Not trying to be rude, but the dog just appears rather scatterbred IMO. But it's a good looking dog though.

  15. ssk he doesn't say this to piss you off or down your dogs either. it's just the way it is. your responses so far have been favorable to the info being provided to you. just take that as more info that you needed to know since you are the one that owns the dog.

How does this make it a Sorrells/Carver dog? Please explain. There is some Sorrells blood back there but it is way back and it is mixed with a little Carver with other bloods mixed in too (as you mentioned). The bottom looks more like a scatterbred than a Sorrells/Carver dog to me.

You have obviously misread my post. Please read it a little more closely.

I read it closely. You said that the bottom IS sorrells/carver which is not true.

  19. ABK

I guess you missed the part where I said the dog was rather scatterbred ...

Also, if you will look, the Mistie dog is almost pure Sorrells, w/ a splash of Clemmons, Greenwood & Heinzl through Smiley. But everything else in Mistie's ped is straight Sorrells blood.

I've looked more closely at Tequila & he meanwhile IMO is more Boudreaux than anything w/ some (but by no means all) of the Boudreaux coming by way of Carver.

The top side is bred mostly on Hazard Jo & Dynamite Red Rock w/ splashes of Sarona & Ishikawa, which again, is UKC show blood.
