would you rather own a virgil bred dog or chinaman

Depends which dog is better. A dog doesn't know what name it has on it in its ped. If both dogs were somehow deemed to be equal, I would then defer to the ped. A good line bred dog has a better chance of consistently reporducing over a scatter bred dog.

There are many other factors to take into account. But, I ain't writing a book.

 

Owned an heavy inbred Raptor hound who was everything a bulldog should be and good chinaman dogs. Based on my experiences i would go with the virgil dog if it is heavy virgil. Jmo.

it depends on the percentage. i mean garner has way higher percentage dogs than gambler, not saying that gambler isnt throwing any good ones. but how many virgil dogs you see doing well in comp, ? then ask yourself how many chinaman dogs you see doing good in comp? and that should give you your answer

yea but think about how many chinaman dogs there are out there compared to virgil. look at how much t.g breeds his dogs

 

I have seen plenty of chinaman dogs do well in comp but have never seen one straight off his yard do anything but thats just me though.

 

The few virgil dogs that i did see done well but i have seen a lot of chinaman dogs do very well to. i prefer chinaman dogs that's just me.

I have had success with the Virgil line, so i'd say Virgil dogs. Specifically the Virgil x Midget. Smart, athletic, and just damn good looking. Had some nice Chinaman hounds too tho...

 

Hey i thought the Virgil dogs were 140lb and run 70 mph. LMAO
