    while i believe he should have got jail time this sentence was quite extreme.is it possible he was so drunk that he didnt realise the dog was tied up and ignored the folks chaseing him ?? yes thats posible. was he a fool and a danger to the public ?? yes-- Dan

    This is where our laws is fucked up and TWISTED in the USA....A drunk driver gets 10 years for animal abuse and the dog lived but in another case a drunk driver kills 2 people in a car accident and gets only 2 years hmmmmm? WTF is wrong with that picture? I guess a human life isnt worth or as valuable as a animals.
