    Appreciate it, cajun. Been there, done that though. If I'm alive, I'll have many more litters when the time is right. And I didn't think it was rough but I like doing it.

    It's fun to look back and appreciate the work put in, but those nights waking up around 2-3am to get a fees in is rough to me lol. Shit last year I ha a litter I hand fed from 3 days old.... I'll take bringing them in at 5 weeks over that any day.... But I do have a diff type "bond" with the ones I hand raised from birth

    yep -good lookin lil pup there treez- and the ups in life are always great - you must never forget to stop and smell the roses - - glad to see someone doing good and pretty much "goin off the grid" moving out in the sticks.

    Good looking pup treez! I hear ya on using used materials. With the price of new materials I use all the scraps and used materials I can. The last house I built with all new materials was probably 3-4 years ago. It is insulated with a hinged top and everything wrapped in metal. Cost was about $150.

    Thanks a lot, bgblok! Reusing materials definitely makes the job a lot easier on the pockets! It's ridiculous how expensive materials haswent up over the years!
