hello from okc !

Hello there, names Mel and I am a APBT lover. I've owned the breed for 27 yrs and can't picture owning any other. The above photo is my first apbt Missy . I had her 16 yr , she was my everything (next to my kids). She was the ideal pit bull. Loving, kind , smart and willing to please. She was the reason for me loving them so much ! In June 2009 she was stabbed to death , her loyalty costed her her very life. She came between me and my ex husband as he was trying to attack myself and our two small children. She stopped the attack at a great cost. She was the most amazing dog ever to come into my world. She is so very dearly missed. So much so there are still days I wake up with such a great sense of lost I can not breath. After four years our family is starting to heal. Enough so it might be time to let go some and allow another rescue into our world.
