I want to try to get some of these urgent dogs out here. Maybe we can all help to find them homes. I know a lot of places won't let me rescue them out of state because I live in Ohio. So I was just thinking people in other states could help. These are only URGENT cases that really need help and are on the death list as we speak. He likes to chase cows, but has never tried to hurt them. Toffee has lived through parvo as a puppy and deserves a 2nd chance at finding a forever home. Wow, this girl is as close to OFRN as you are going to get. She is all red, red hair, red skin, red nose and red nails. She has a hard slick and shiny coat. She is a very very submissive girl with a super sweet disposition and willing to do ANYTHING to please you. She is an extremely soft dog that only needs a stern voice correction to drop to the ground belly up. Her tail has been docked. She is full grown but has some filling out to do. She is UTD on shots, spayed and being treated for heartworms. She is not a mix, just very thin and young. She should probably weigh around 50 lbs but was only 35 lbs when picked up. THIS DOG HAS NO FOSTER HOME

[font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]I have spent a few hours with Dizzy and have observed the following: she was well-behaved when i bathed her; she did not show any aggression toward all the other dogs who barked at her when we exited her kennel run; she does not lunge at cats when we stand in doorway on the cat room (also of note is that the cats did not react to her); she is now leach trained (does not pull) and will sit on command; she enjoys the sofa; i have never heard her bark; she does not jump up on you unless you request it; she enjoyes rolling around on her back. [font=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Stitch is an absolutely adorable 28 lbs- 3 m/o pit bull terrier who was picked up as a stray and brought into the shelter.This little boy is a shelter favorite.Stitch is as sweet as the day is long and loves to cuddle in your lap . He loves to be close to people and play. Stitch seems to be fine with other dogs, showing no interest in them when they bark at him, and wagging his tail and grinning when they make friendly gestures toward him. He is a little uncertain of cats, and is not sure if he is frightened by them, or if he should chase them. He mostly just hits the ground on his belly if they hiss at him. She was rescued from her former owner who left her inside for hours on end. She had a litter of pups and was forced to “raise” them in the filth and mess that she was left in. Once her pups were sold we were able to get her out of that situation. After only a few weeks in foster care, Kiara is now very trim, muscular, healthy and spayed! She is housetrained, crate trained, but she would love to sleep on your bed with you and cuddle and keep you warm all night. One of her favorite things to do is give nice big bully kisses!!

She has been through alot, including heartworm treatment and desperately needs someone to love her. She has been at the shelter for seven months and is starting to get depressed. She is a very affectionate and sweet tempered little dog who would make somebody a wonderful companion.
