So they're investigating the owner for abuse because 2 pit bulls got into a fight? I think that's uncalled for unless they have reasonable doubt and 2 dogs getting into a fight is not reasonable. I also don't understand why they had to shot the dog several times resulting in death to get the dog to stop "attacking". What was wrong with 1 shot to like a leg or something.

Sounds like a case of the HS's and local officials teaming up to use their power to bully someone. The police shot the dogs, so obviously the owner is taking legal action. The HS decides they are going to charge the man for something, to get back at him for him having the nerve to stand upto them. How in the hell can you charge someone with "putting his dogs in previous danger)? If you have proof the dogs were endangered, than you should of done something about it THEN! Waiting until its conveinent to black ball someone is wrong, and any judge in their right mind is going to laugh this off and toss their case.....now its just time to wait and see if the judge in the local town is as good as in bed with the HS's "Cant do no wrong" too.
