    hi

i would like to know if a (game) dog can aquire bad habits growing up with cur's.

should the dog be separated as soon he shows d.a.?

    what to avoid?

If you don't seperate the game dog and cur you might only be feeding one dog after while anyway.Kind of a natural selection process. All APBTs should be seperated, otherwise it's asking for problems, vet bills and hurt dogs.

what does it matter if the dog shows bad signs, seriously?
    - if you have the dog running around w/ hunting dogs...i dont think it will effect its ability to hunt. ( i.e it chumming w/ other dogs doesnt change its genetic makeup)

if your talk'n curs as in non apbt, yes they can pick up bad habbits. i have never and never will let my dogs be anywhere around none apbt period. there used to be such thing as apbts not barking lol.. take em into suburbia and those that live there will for the most, carry on like the other neighbourhood dogs.. enviroment is the key word and thats were any dog will pick up bad habbits.
a Game Bred young dog, i defenately would not have around any none apbt. i wouldnt sit back and wait while he grows with another dog and then have him turn on. because by this time youve proberly become relaxed about the idea and shit will hit the fan while your off somewhere think'n theyll be ok.
i think this answers all three questions, ie; what to avoid /\ ;)
