I didn't read all the complaints but from my understanding from other post I've read, I know many of you hate "mutts" so to speak, but being that all I grew around is what you consider overgrown "mutts". I respect those dogs and have seen high percentages of them perform greatly. Your hate is in the way of you wanting to open your eyes and realize that these dogs aren't going anywhere. Actually, in the higher populated cities, your true APBT is endangered. The dogs aren't worthless and they should be able to hold the title APBT or call them APBT mutts. Might as well because that's is the breed society has known it to be. the owners are at fault for all the misrepresentation. I am a very responsible owner and will not let my love for my taste of dog be disrespected. This is 2006. Change has been occurring since I was born so I'm sure you have seen a difference in many things. Good luck trying to save your breed while I try to make mine better.

What I'm saying when I say you are trying to save your breed and I'm trying to better mine is that hardly anyone looks at these small APBTs' as APBTs'. I am one of the few who know the difference and was raised around the dogs you hate so much. When people see me with my small bulldog some ask what is she, or what is she mixed with, but when I got my big boy, there are no assumptions or questions. So to you I say this, your choice of dogs are non-existent to majority of society. It may be fact that if lawmakers decided to get rid of APBTs' then my dogs of choice will be the first to go because of what society has classified as an APBT. I am no fool and no idiot. I am pretty educated about several aspects of bulldogs and APBTs'. Not an expert, but I am one of the few who wanted to learn more of the history and I appreciate it but times change. Being that I got my first personal dog about 3yrs ago. All I seen was bigger bullies and I know them and can respect them.
