lonewolf, I really like that travis blood. how is he working out for you? I have a grandson of his too and Im really happy with him so far.

good to hear its been done at least once or twice, i kind of though someone must of tried it, but never seen or heard about any! you here good things about Redboy/JEEP/Jocko, or RB/Jeep... more often.

 

Buck you know theres rumors that alot of Frisco's offspring are actually off of a Redboy dog that T.G had on his yard for awhile..I cant remember the dogs name and i by no means think its completely or even partially true..but who knows.If so I dont care cause there still some good dogs but if not then I've also heard it said that T.G got rid of the dog because the cross didnt work well..everybody has haters and in my opinion you aint doin it right if you dont so id be happy to feed a dog off of T.G's yard...just my 2 cents on a Frisco/Redboy cross

 

they are fiesty guys don't get me wrong, just have heard doubts and either way the dogs good for something,...but just never heard anything that was over the top or even related to the cross, but new to the blood to ask i've only had them 10mos. but looking and learning, just cuurious as to what folks thought they lacked or excelled in, or if they even seen any either....

and i dont know but i wouldnt dont that a lot of "frisco" dogs are off a redboy
i have heard that alot and from the story i heard it makes a lot of sense
i try to avoid frisco but its hard bc like it or not them dogs turn out VERY WELL lol

 

Matilda's wild!!, i thought the redboy/eli pups were rough! , this limey bred pup awesome!, The Redboy/Eli pups are doing GREAT, Yerik was always a different fella then the other two (Sashanka and Buck-Shot) are almost twin personality's, Yeriks coming around well tho, not knocking him he's still trying, just lazier then the rest, not much into doing anything, but wresting, that includes walks hill just sit look at you as you keep walking, but the other have drive!:cool:

 

Thanks the realjudge. I like him alot. I owned the momma and did the breeding as it looked like it lined up well. I will use him as a cross if he works out. he is just over 2 years old and is acting great. He is built very solid. His dad Ch Ugly Dudly was a good dog.

I wish I could elaborate more on the friscoxredboy cross. I will say I never really liked the frisco blood, and was'nt too high on redboy blood either. I had a COUPLE eye opening experiences, and have since added some redboy blood into the program. Everyone knows what Frisco dogs are known for. The 50/50 redboy/frisco dogs I have seen, did not show the UNDESIREABLE frisco traits. Found out the hard way.lol.

 

Well Like i said earlier i'd feed a frisco dog..whether it be off frisco or a redboy dog if it acts how its supposed to i wont discriminate because of who its daddy was...lol

Just trying to gain more knowledge of the cross, and how they tend to act and turn out...

The more i hear about them the more i can come to know them a lil better.

like i said before never heard of the cross, and when i got them i decided, I'd take the chance getting pups anyway!

I just got to be patient !

 

maybe brains and style! cause there not overly dumb for young dogs anyway! but they have GREAT moves when wrestling, when they were together , they've bin separated since they were young like about 4 mos....

maybe later than i should of, but hey!

its what the set up allowed at the time! I'm not big on under 3-4mos outside on a chain, a lil bigger, then keep near the older dogs, they tend to learn the doghouse is good, and way of the chain!,(we have black bears, coyotes and wolfs here, if one of these were sick or hungry enought, theyed hit the pups first! were deep deep bush around here!) but when they were younger i should of made separate pens for them for the 2-4 mos, stage... but they all have good heads other than dopey Yerik,
but time will tell ....
