Sorona kennels was out of Casper wyoming although they ran ad in gazzette so they could of went anywhere u suppose

 

They were smart dogs round chested pound for pound were dwarfed by real game bred dog

 

No Mary was from Sarona WI. Mary started selling out in 1980. She sold Trouble to a guy in AL. His ad is in Bloodline Journal in 1980. There is a picture of Hemphill's Rusty (half Clouse/half Hemphill bloodline, brother to Schiller's Rusty) advertised in Bloodlines and in the ad she states she is closing her kennel and this was in 1979. Mary was busted in 1980 or around 1981 with Joe D. and Ropers. Made all the state's newspapers.

 

Well there was outfit in Casper took over name I'm positive of this

No, that was her. She moved there after being busted.

 

That's a shame, I didn't know that, and I used to talk to her at least once or twice a year. She kept in touch with me after she moved to Westbrook Minnesota some time in the late 80's I believe. But I do know she was there in 1990 because she sent me photos and a letter at that time, that I still have. She would still sell pups to people she knew into the 90's. She was real good people, and she had a good looking family.

 

Some time in the early ninties she was selling pups from wyoming and her dogs werent nearly as good as the original foundation she started with from what I understand...
Not a fan of big red and chocolate dogs but thats what they ended up being, but the base is from a solid bulldogs. so a catalyst might be there...
