Went to feed my 8 month old dog this morning and I noticed she had a runny nose, very thick yellow mucus. Anyone know what might be the cause?

Googled it, and came up with kennel cough although I dont see her coughing. She has great appetite and active as can be, running, jumping..........

I would take her to the vet. Yellow mucous usually indicates some sort of bacterial infection. She could have a foreign body in her nasal cavity (inhaled something while digging etc.). Is she sneezing?
