I have noticed that the last 4/5 days he is scratching himself more often, like every 2/3 hours or so mostly around his shoulders.Nothing is quite visible, but its a little red in that are.
He is on a raw barf type diet and eats vegetables, probiotics,he also nibbles on alot of grass to.All the above are not new to his diet ,which makes you think that it's something else causing the skin rashes, l just recently added Grizzly salmon oil to his feed, but can this be the problem ?
Any help would be much obliged.:o

Roll him back to just base raw meats. Add one other ingredient each day.

    Example:
    1st Day Raw Meat
2nd Day Raw Meat and Veggies
3rd Day Raw Meat, Veggies, Probiotics.
4th Day Raw Meat, Veggies, Probiotics and Salmon Oil.

Keep him away from the grass for this period. Keep a good eye on him, and see if he starts scratching again when you add something in particular. If nothing changes, keep him away from the grass for a couple days, monitor him again.

If this doesn't change anything - you're shit out of luck, coz it could be one of the above things, but its in his system and needs more time to work its way out than a few days of isolation from certain ingredients.

If you are worried about it, take him to a vet, get him tested they'll be able to give you a better idea of whether its an allergy, some other kind of skin condition, diet affected, inhalant, mange, fleas... whatever.
