I read that washing your dogs feet with White Oak Bark steeped in water toughens your dogs feet.

Anyone have any expierience with this or any other suggestions?

I did not intend to have this interpretted as a shortcut in any means, but more like a recovery process if you will, after you work your dog. I read to do this and wanted clarification.

I dont know if you have to ground it, I dont even know if you could use a liquid extract...

They all seem like good answers to me, but I am the one with no expierience with it.

any farm store/hunting dog supplier will carry these types of products...there are some old school concoctions that work really well....the key to any of them working is to inspect/care for the pads prior to the damage/limping...s.
