What is a good weight to pull for a 40lbs bulldog

    It depends on why you are pulling ,how,and what.If you are pulling for competition ,you would start the dog off slow on a light weight and work him up.At the shows our young dogs usually average about 1800 pounds for their first competitive pull.as they get used to the routine they pull more.We have a cart at home that I use for mine but drag weight works great.You can use just the round weights off a weightbench.You also need to have a good harness for them.
