What age do staffy's heads get bigger ?

My wee dog is 14 month and his head is looking small because he is putting the weight on but he is not fat. cheers....

 

Why you want a big head? What differance will it make?

 

His head may grow a bit more but it should be 85%-90% as its going to get by now.......it could be a hidden phenotype that wasn't seen in the mother and father

As soon as they hit puberty ..... Though if you didn't circumcise him his head won't be as big.

 

yeah got him the snip a few months back so will need to watch his weight now. He is 22kg and still to do a bit of growing I think. My partner said it is his chunky new collar that makes his head look smaller lol think she might be correct.

 

i dont give a shit if my dog has a 12" or a 48" head, as long as theres teeth and a brain in there somewhere

 

sounds to me like you"ve been feeding him too much. trim him down with exersise and proper diet , then see what you think. tis not a 10minute job mind....
