underbite/overbite

    are these genetic traits can they be passed on?

    I have seen it passed on through the off spring when outcrossed. Most times though I have sen it in heavy line-bred or in-bred offspring.

    I agree with LA..........it can be passed on but it won't necessarily be. I have bred to a bitch with an underbite and seven of eight pups had a solid chomp. The underbite never caused her any trouble on a hunt which is why I bred her.
