tree sap everywhere???

anyone have a trick to remove heavy sap from their dogs? ive tried bathing but now the sap is leaving him with little bald spots everywhere? any safe methods will be appreciated thanks.

 

good ol' peanut butter. spread it on the area, let sit for a few minutes. low heat hair dryer and comb it out

 

as odd as it sounds this method will work also works with bubble gum too

Freeze the sap with an Ice Cube, then scrape it off with a butter knife, or use Goo Gone.

nail polish remover containing acetone... best and easiest option

 

clear nail gun oil ( silacone free) and saw dust. That will take tree sap off but you need to clean the oil off afterwards.

 

acetone sounds real bad. nail gun oil is something i do have. will try. peanut butter worked to an extent but this case is extreme.
