Site Specific definition... what douse it mean?!?

    so the definition is:
    Site-specific - created for one specific location and designed to relate to that location.
    lately all iv gotten for examples of site specific art is architecture that was made for a particular site.

    doesn't it also mean paintings that are painted to resemble (or as a remembrance of) a particular place?
