Question about terminology...

    STA8541 Pup

    What does the term "swapping out" or "swap out" mean? I have a pretty good guess from the context I've seen it used in, dogs in a match changing holds, but I just wanted to see if anybody had something to add or if I'm totally off base with my understanding or what have you. Thank you in advance.
