Ontario Adviser Asks People to Sign Pit Bull Petition

    Ontario, Canada -- An adviser to Attorney General Michael Bryant asked dozens of people to sign the online petition backing a ban on pit bulls.

    Tom Allison contacted 40 people -- including Liberal staff members -- and asked them to sign the petition.

    Bryant defends his adviser's action, saying Allison was free to promote the ban since he sent the appeal on his own e-mail account.
