once or twice a day

What are peoples opinions on conditioning once or twice a day.

 

are you asking what are the opinions on feeding during conditioning if once or twice a day is recommended?

 

I condition once a day.

 

I just get shampoo and conditioner in one.

 

conditioning a dog in a keep.

 

I do it once for a long amount of time,.. about 2 hours toward the end of the keep.

 

Once a day for a few hours but I take him for a short 20 minute walk twice a day on top of that.

 

If you don`t know that much about conditioning then you can do a strength and a cardio workout on the same day but at least 6 hrs apart. If you have greater knowledge on the subject then you can train for strength more than once as long as it`s a different quality or you could even training the same quality but change the variables. Another option would be training the dog earlier for strength and again later in the day for strength but the second time have no eccentric (negative) load.

Key would be the right nutritional protocol to enable the dog to recover between workouts.
