Thanks, Buddie dropped two off, his neighbor was chucking them out, so i put sides the dogs like it , 15mins. or so then walk for 20 then breakfast I'm thinking for the first little bit,

the put where like WTF:eek:, but got used to it fast watchin the others run it.

Dude! That is well done for a convert mill. Did you remove the weights or anything to improve the speed, or did you just raise the front? I want to get another human mill with those bumpy plastic belts for the dogs. A few minutes on those things and I never hane to worry about the dogs' nails. However, mine never move as freely as that, not even with the weight removes, everything disconnected, etc.

some more close ups, i didn' have to do much at all, had industrial shelving, thats what i used for the side, and self tapping screws in to the frame (4)on each side at the bottom, and made plastic bumpers , extended out the bumpers to stop pups from standing on the outsides! and made sure all surfaces were extra smooth, you have your dog running on this thing keep it "sharp edge, free!!!" i put angle iron to help keep them off the side also. but covered with left over rabbit door plastic edging.

 

That's a hell of a good conversion. Was it expensive?

 

pics look good Buck. thanks for the kick start video, thing runs smooth. I've been wanting to pick up a manual but I heard they were tough to get going but yours doesn't look bad at all.

 

total project was free, just crap people didn't want anymore! (2)24'' x 40'' sides mode of metal shelving, and the screws i had kicking around. and scap wood and bolt i had from work, and the plywood scraps on the top for support, the angle iron i had cut already from the slatmill project, and covered it in plastic from the rabbit project :rolleyes:, so i use all the shit i find, and collect,

you would be surprised how much good building/project material you could collect in a few months at work job sites and ,and if you make al list of thing you need , get friends to keep there eyes pealed for parts and material you need, or will need, it helps, these mills were built from the junk of someone else. And the dogs love them. just learn about the use of a Carpet Mill first and Kidney function of your dog.

his first time on it, it took a day but he likes it now. Watching the others dog it helps a lot, they see you get pumped, and they get excited for there turn!
