My Pup Hisses

    One of my 4 month old pups hisses instead of growls when hes pissed off. It is ALWAYS followed by a lunge and is never a bluff or warning like when a cat hisses.

    I haven't had the chance to record it but its a hiss with a slight gargle like there is flem in throat. He is the only one in the litter of 5 who does this. He is my pick and I want to keep him.

    Anyone ever experience this?

    I am really the only one here with a dog that hisses? Then he is definitely a keeper!:D
