Saint or not I could careless about Oneil. I am more upset about timing and perception. I would love for horse and greyhound racing to grow. I understand it may never be what it once was but grow enough to be relevant again. Just wishful thinking I guess.

  2. Take it from someone that has been a follower of horse racing for many years. It is not going to grow. In fact, we should really be happy that it is still around. Its days are numbered my friend.

I'm a harness guy. Jersey used to be the pinnacle of the sport. Nowadays, all you hear about are the juice trainers and the slot infused purses. The end is near.

Same with the dogs down here, simulcasting and poker rooms keep the tracks open. In St Pete over half the kennels where empty.

Maryland screwed the horses for years with no slots, then when they finally say yes the screw them even more and let that casinos go in any where.

Thanks for the info. Yeah that jockey is pretty young isn't he? I saw the interview with him after the derby. Can't help but root for him since they are so close

  5. As some famous internet tout constantly says, its a dead game laddie.

  6. Yes. That track is not for the novice either. As far as his experience, he will have like 6 or 8 drives up until The Day of the Belmont. Like I said earlier, without Bodie, he is looking really strong here.

Heard from an English friend of mine that in the UK n Australia greyhound racing is going strong. Horses are still strong over seas as well. Seems like we are the only culture that is purging its of all the games and failing to pass it down. Next thing u know we will get rid of fucking baseball cuz we kill cows for gloves n cut down trees.....God damn hippies.lol

I will take a closer look at the competiton once the post is drawn. Hopefully they get a good position

  9. The tacks have always had the idea that there the most important. The bettors didn't matter. Let the door hit them in the ass so to say. Now, the casino's give you anything under the sun. The racinos are constantly sending you free money. Even poker players get comped and tons of incentives. The tracks don't even give you a free program. And they cry now because anyone that has half a brain bets online for the rebates. F---em....

  10. The Union Rags angle is being played off of his horrible trip in the derby. The problem is the distance for him. I'm with you. We will wait and study and hopefully cash.

Think the odds tell the story today. I'll have another, union rags followed by Dullah is what i will go with. I think it will be a pretty simple box trifecta. But who knows Optimizer might just ruin it all lol

  12. Play a key instead. Put 3 horses on top of three horses and 5 or 6 t run third. I hate to say it, I think I'll Have Another wins this by open lengths.

  14. No. I wouldn't have risked it. At least he gave us some nice memories and a horse that we can always say, what might have been.
