Just Wondering

I was just wondering everyones different method of where they let their females have pups, and what you put down when shes having them?

 

since i dont have a kennel or a shed with AC...i just bring tem inside.....UNTIL the damn things start crying for no reason at 4:00 in the morning....lol

 

I like using kiddie pools. The all plastic ones.. Its cheap, easy to clean up, and keeps the pups inside.

 

I have a spare room at my house just for deliveries. I built a 5 x 4 welping box, it has heat lamps. I use blankets during the delivery( it soaks up liquids better) I use news paper after.I use to use the kiddie pools, until one of the dogs started eating on them, but they work great.

 

I have heard many good things about using kiddie pools, we have never tried it though. One of our females is due to drop tomm'r. Last one that had puppies, we let her inside in the utililty and I will never do that again, it took a while to get the smell out. We have a brood pen with a Huge square bin attached, that we put hay in for her to have them in there.
