Introducing AVA

Shes a good looking dog...

 

That's great that you take care of your animals that is what pet owner's are supposed to do I could go on and on about the money I spend on feed and care for mine but it doesn't really matter because I am just doing what I should do.

I sent Marty HW preventative paste the kind he asked me to send and that was it.

I treated AVA myself when she got home I took her to the vet and made sure she got what she needed.

I don't know you but I have read your posts and from your posts you have some personal issues with the former owner of this board. And have used an unfortunate situation with sick dogs involved to drag his name through the mud.

I am not saying he is innocent or he didn't provide the best care possible for his dogs there is more to this story that I am not going into. All I am saying is that regardless it should be about the dogs kicking someone when they are already down is not solving the problems currently. I don't hate Marty because he is a drunk it's a disease I believe that Marty loves his dogs but because of his disease and his current situation he has been unable to care for his dogs like they should be cared for. And that is all I am going to say about the situation.

Marty asked me for my help and I helped him that's it I don't need a pat on my back it was the right thing to do for a dog who needed it. And I wish I could do more for the dogs still left in the same situation Ava was.

 

I will continue to post pictures of her as she progresses Vicky .... Thank You everyone for your kind words about Ava. Regardless of how inbred she is or if she is a Cur and not show quality as someone else said. She is my dog now and I love her just the way she is she's a great little girl and in my eyes she's beautiful and she is living the life she deserves to live. She is not just some dog to me call her what you want but at the end of the day she's happy she's fed and she's loved and that's all that should matter with any pet. For those who want to hate on her hate on she can't read this thread anyway plus she is too busy enjoying her life to care

 

Martys dogs sure look different then expected from someone that always claimed to feed Timberwolf, lmao Marty stuck it to everyone, he was a know it all and was as rude and dk like as you can get to people on the forum. Now its his turn and with his dogs looking this piss poor, he deserves it. Unreal people still riding his jock

 

Just want to throw it out there. Ava needs to be retested for heartworms in 6 months to make sure she is truly negative. Because of the missed heartworm prevention up until the point of you sending it to him. Since she has missed doses in the last 6 months.

AC showed up at Marty's house today and it's no wonder why with all the public posts putting him out on front street about how his dogs are in bad shape. It's dry snitching plain and simple and it's totally unacceptable. The same people doing it will be the ones saying how sad it is when someone gets arrested and their dogs get put down. Regardless of what someone has done it's not ok to put their personal business out in the public for HSUS investigators to view openly any time they want. Everybody gets all shitty when someone talks about an active kennel on here and this is no different. Luckily with those who helped out the AC officers found his dogs to be in acceptable condition, but in te future it would be best to not mention where a dog comes from or what their personal status is. Even if you don't like someone, it's another black eye for the breed.

Nobody says you can't post pics of your dog or the condition that she was in. All I'm saying is that it's not right to it out there if someone's dogs are less than up to par. It would be no different than coming on here and saying "oh I saw so and so's dog go and he got all torn up and they barely saved him and he's in the basement in a cage getting nursed back to health". People go to jail for that kind of shit. I don't know M well enough to make an opinion on him but I do know him well enough to know he cares about the dogs or he wouldn't be excepting help and placing the dogs he loves in better homes. I also know that dry snitching is still snitching and that's not something that should be condoned on a Game-dog site or anywhere. And I'm not pointing the finger at anybody for it, all I'm saying is regardless of wether a person is liked or wether they've offended people in the past, there's no excuse to ridicule and slander them and serve them up to AC.

 

And a lot of people can't tell the differene between people and animals. Or did you miss te part about AC saying the dogs were in good health, just a little light. But it's ok, I see where you stand now and I can't say I'm surprised. :rolleyes: personally I'd rather keep my mouth shut and wish I'd said something than the other way around cause once it comes out of you mouth can't take it back.

Look man, I'm not real sure what your issue is with me and I can't say that I care. The bottom line is it's not ok to put people's personal issues out on the public forum, it's in the rules plain as that in several different places. Shouldn't matter if somebody likes te person being talked about or not. My post was only to make other members aware that the things you post do have consequences. It is not a coincidence that AC just happened to show up there.

 

i know its not funnny but hittting the bottle and playing farmville LMAO! wtf is farmville anyway????? he does look pretty toasted in some pics... but bottom line if the dogs were in that bad of shape he should of gotten help or gave em up....no need for dogs to be in that order when you have people willing to stepo up

 

That's fine. I'm not trying to be disrespectful here, I'm just saying that authorities are showing up because of things being publically posted. I personally don't feel that it's right no matter what the circumstances. He did at least rehome some of them. If they had been deemed unacceptable they probably wouldn't have been given that chance.

Just so you know Marty is getting rid of the rest of the dogs on his yard he is sending them to other people as we speak he has been making arrangements for the dogs left in the yard to be placed with people who can provide the care they need. He realizes he is not able to care for them any longer and he does not have the help he needs or the money required to care for as many dogs as he had at one point. Animal control was out there today but said that the dogs were in good condition with the exception of some being slightly underweight and that is because of the flea problem which they have been treated for and the worms which they have also been treated for. So they should be able to put some of that weight back on now that those issues have been addressed. He has asked for help he has gotten help and the rest of the dogs are being placed with other's who will care for them. Marty has a problem he is an alcoholic anyone who has ever had to deal with someone sick with this illness knows how bad it can get and how it ruins lives and is self destructing. Hate the illness don't hate the person with the illness. I don't condone neglecting animals by any means but let's remember here that there is always 2 sides to every story. Marty reached out to me and asked for my help other people are helping him for the sake of the animals involved. This whole thing is no longer about Marty it's about these dogs and the dogs are being taken care of NOW and that's all that matters. Marty has told me he is getting out of dogs he understands that he is not in any position to care for dogs at this point in his life. I have talked to him and I believe he has taken responsibility for his part in what has happened with these dogs. He may not have given them the care they needed but he has accepted responsibility and reached out to people to help him. He has never once told me he is not at fault or tried to hide anything he has been honest with me and all I can do is be there to help.
