I just want to get it clear...

I'm not from the usa, and i want to ask you if pitbulls are banned in the states, i mean if it's illegal to raise them or breed them, or just to match dogs ? and another thing, is the breed recognise and register to any dog associations , because in my country (btw i live in romania) , pitbullls are becoming extinct now because of the law. here it's illegal to breed them, or buy\sell. you can own one, but you have to nutter it, and you can't import from other countries. sorry if my spelling is not so good, relly trying here .

 

It varies from city to city.Some states or citys have ordinances outlawing the ownership,some just have rigid guidlines you have to go by in order to keep a pit bull within city limits.I believe some places do have mandatory spay/nueter laws.
