One of my dogs has two hot spots on his back leg. A while back the vet called it Acral Lick Granuloma and gave me Orbax pills and "Burows solution with Gentocin" to apply daily, which I did, but the spots never really went away and now they are worse. Seems like when I apply the solution it makes him want to lick it even more. Anyone know how to get rid of these things?

If it is truely a granuloma,it will never really go away. But I have had problems with a few dogs getting spots like it on their legs.It always seems to come from the dirt.I bath mine in a medicated shampoo and then apply a product I use on my horses. It is after midnight,so I will have to go get the name when I wake up,had a brain fart, can't remember.Been up all night celebrating Mioton28's birthday! Lol.But anyway, the stuff works really well. The male that was brought to me a few weeks ago had a few spots on his legs where he was chewing ,and they have cleared up.
