As for comparison balkan vs. cajun rules. Main reason for introduction of "balkan" rules are humans. In the beggining cajun rules were active and problem was in fact that sometimes one dog let bite, after few esc. other dog let bite, but owners didn not separated them (time to scratch). Sometimes that was becouse owners were not fast enought, sometimes that was becouse some owner was not fast becouse he did not want his dog to scratch. So countint to 3 prevent that. Dogs are not in hold 3 sec, and judge commands to go to corner and prepare to scratch. Besides that there are deep game dogs, there are dead game dogs, sometimes there are matches with lot of scratches, so i would not say that rule destroy game in dogs.

Balkan rule and cajun rules aren't the same . Your giving the dog a chance every time you break them . You change the rules because you don't know gown to use them . easy learn them . And if you what most of those videos you will see them throw the dog out or release them wrong . 10 seconds is a modified cajun rules it's 20 seconds . 10 seconds they don't want a game dog to win .

Other thing is that there are some dogs that will scratch same second, but if he have some time to think he will not. Literally there are dogs who will scratch same secont, but after few sec. in corner will not.
