It's nice she found a home,the bad thing is you can see how bad it is for the APBT.It didn't really sound like hardly anyone wanted to adopt her,even after showing how friendly she was.Had she been a Pomeranian or some other little cutesy dog,she would've been adopted up quick.There's alot of hatred for the APBT.On a hunting forum I'm on,someone actually posted that they'd shoot a "pitbull" on site if they seen one on their property.The APBT gets a pretty raw deal from alot of people,most likely had Ginger not been on TV she'd of been PTS.

The owners of the ranches i hunt ask that if you see dogs on the property, shoot them. I couldnt really see animal control helping so there really arent a lot of options. The dogs can really cause havoc for the enviroment and the people that live there.

 

As somebody that lives on a farm I understand what a stray dog is capable of if it's getting out of line.But the person I mentioned just had a hatred for APBTs.I understand shooting a dog if it's causeing trouble for someone's livestock but not a kill on sight mentality like it's some kind of monster just because it's a APBT.

 

Only 1 out of 600 pit bulls ever find a permanent loving home. Scary huh?

i saw that on the news. funny thing is it was our local news that played the video. glad they finally put something positive on there. when i saw it i thought i'd love to have a hard copy of that video so i could slap john goodwin in the face with it, repeatedly. ginger is a hero, i hope she finds all the happiness she deserves.
