Dozens of dogs are disappearing in Northern Kentucky counties and Animal Control Officers are worried about what they think might be happening to the dogs.

According to our sister station WLWT, Officers with Gallatin County Animal Control say they have been getting between four to eight calls a day on missing dogs and more than 20 were reported missing in the past six weeks.

Surrounding counties are getting similar reports.

Animal Control Officers are worried that there might be a possible dog fighting ring operation.

This week dozens of dogs were seized from a dog fighting ring in Columbus.

Animal Control Officers warn people to keep a close eye on their dogs.
