This dude got 25 years for matching dogs and having some drugs. Thats crazy! I bet he would have got probation if he had just had drugs but since he had game dogs he got it in the ass

That's how the system works. Life is a game you gotta learn how to play. Now, I didn't read the article but I bet the guy had priors arrest from drugs then he gets caught and is fighting dogs of course there gonna try and hang'em but he really didn't have money and had to go to court with a PD, thats when they hang you.

 

the guy got 5-9 years, 3 years for the drugs(FELONY by the way) and 2-6 for the dogfighting, senteces run consecutive, not concurrent

 

That dude from SC got 25 years cause he was selling major ammounts of crack/cocacaine and marijuana. Plus he had a gun on him when they found him which makes selling the drugs worse in this state. He had 42 dogs and they were mostly all put down. I seriously doubt if any of the dog stuff had to do with the years he got, as in this state any type of animal cruelty/illegal act with an animal is a misdemeanor and doesnt hold any jail time.

 

This may give you a little better prospective on the case. I don't think it was all about the dogs.

Well there is alot of bad people that have game dogs That is why they are shutting us down. You can Blame the breeders When a thug rolls up with big stacks they cant wait to sell any thing they got. Very few are closed minded about that. And when these gangsters get busted the dogs are plastered all over the news. Dont sell pups or dogs to these type of people. and to tell ya the truth if those type are ever on your yard you better stay awake every night with a shotgun THEY will steal you blind..

South Carolina is riddled with backyard breeders and dog fighters. I can find pit bulls a dime a dozen here. The first thing they will tell you about their dogs when you ask about them is that they are "100% game"..fighting quality. This is not a hush hush thing here either. These people could give 2 craps about the law. Not saying every pit owner here is this way but 90% of them are.
Granted their should be harsher punishments for murderers then dogmen. Probation should not be an option though.

Well I only had dogs stolen a few times and Guess what it was buy thugs some one brought to my yard ONE time and I told him NEVER bring them around me again. And you know what they stole 5 pups from him also. so its kind like if it looks like shit and smells like shit its GOING TO TASTE LIKE SHIT TRUST ME!!!
