dog stake

    what is the best thing to use as a dog stake (axle...etc)???

    We use the axle here...cheap and normally easy to find. Of course, none of the junk yards here ever have them...

    We use axles as well. We get them across the border (3 of them) for 10 bucks.

    I use either earth anchors (from TSC) or weld the chain to rebar. I have sandy soil so I bury all of the anchors in the ground.
