degenerative osteoarthritis or arthritis

    i wanna to know if that disease can to appear in early age in APBTs, if the answer is yes, can be genetic or not

    most likely as it can in humans. a good rule of thumb or something to speed up arthritis = trauma ....such as certain living conditions (hard cold concrete floors maybe) or perhaps an injury. Or disuse / overuse of joints etc... hope this helps.


    also as far as i know some families seem to be prone to osteoarthritis. So i think it would be safe to assume it can be genetically linked.


    lastly ... if a person / animal lives long enough they will most likely eventually get some amount of arthritis, although it might be minor.
