    UPDATE: Course Certificates
ICB is pleased to announce that soon we will be able to offer certification for satisfactory completion of our courses. You will receive badges for completed courses that will reflect the areas and levels of your expertise that you can display on your website or where you advertise your breeding program. These certifications will also demonstrate your commitment as a breeder to staying abreast of the latest developments in genetics and the science of animal breeding. This will not be a "fill out the paperwork and get the badge" program. You will need to complete the specific course and also pass a final qualifying exam. These will be certifications that really mean something!

We still have to work out some of the nuts and bolts of implementing the course certifications, but we can tell you that you will be eligible for certification for any of the ICB designed courses that you have already completed by passing the certification exam. We will post notifications when these exams become available, hopefully by the end of the year. In the meantime, courses taken going forward will of course be eligible as well. There will be a fee for certification to be determined.
