While most of the news outlets in the United States have engulfed Americans in news coverage regarding the economy and the 2012 presidential elections, little if any news coverage exists about major actions being considered by President Barack Obama and progressive lawmakers, including the signing of a United Nations gun control treaty on July 27, according to [video=youtube;XZeJpXLsVCI]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZeJpXLsVCI&feature=player_embedded[/video], a former Bill Clinton political advisor.
Apparently the United States will sign-on to an International Gun Control Plan pushed by the United Nations that's already received the blessings of Secretary Hillary Clinton, according to the State Department.
Secretary Clinton has been pushing for the United States to become a party to a global gun control treaty since she began heading the State Department. And President Obama appears to be overly sympathetic to such an international power-grab, according to gun rights groups, according to gun rights activists such as John Snyder and Larry Pratt.
"Last week, the Obama Administration took its first major step in a long-range plan to ban firearms in the United States. The Obama Administration intends to force gun control and a complete ban on all weapons for US citizens through the signing of international treaties with foreign nations," according to journalist Joan Sharon.
By signing international treaties on gun control, the Obama administration can use the U.S. State Department to bypass the normal legislative process in Congress. Once the U.S. government signs these international treaties, all US citizens will be subject to those gun laws created by foreign governments, according to political consultant and attorney Michael S. Baker.

"These are laws that have been developed and promoted by organizations such as the United Nations and individuals such as radical billionaire George Soros and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg," said Baker.
"The laws are designed and intended to lead to the complete ban and confiscation of all firearms," according to Joan Sharon.
"The Obama administration is attempting to use tactics and methods of gun control that will inflict major damage to our Second Amendment before US citizens even understand what has happened," she added.
Critics believe Obama will appear before the public and tell them that he does not intend to pursue any legislation in the United States that will lead to new gun control laws, while cloaked in secrecy, his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, is committing the U.S. to international treaties and foreign gun control laws.
"We will wake up one morning and find that the United States has signed a treaty that prohibits firearm and ammunition manufacturers from selling to the public. We will wake up another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that prohibits any transfer of firearm ownership. And then, we will wake up yet another morning and find that the US has signed a treaty that requires US citizens to deliver any firearm they own to the local government collection and destruction center or face imprisonment," Ms. Sharon stated.
And former police detective Samuel Ginsburg uses the Operation Fast and Furious scandal as an example of Obama's infatuation with disarming Americans. He claims the goal of the gun-walking operation was to place even more sanctions on gun dealers and owners.
"These people came up with an amateurish police operation designed to prove their point about a need for stiffer gun laws. And it blew up in their faces as they hide behind executive privilege likes rats hide from an exterminator," said Ginsburg.

I dunno man, it all sounds VERY fucking strange to me.
What made me really suspicious was the fact that... nobody even took a second look at this dude while he was buying all these weapons. (By nobody I mean the suppliers of the weapons). I read that he bought them LEGALLY at a gun supply store. What! WHAT??
Who the fuck doesn't get suspicious about some dude buying not only BULLETPROOF BODY PROTECTION, helmets, a gas-mask, etc, semi-automatic rifles and loads of ammunition? A semi-automatic rifle is not a hunting gun, it's bangbangbangbangbang, it's quick, it's fast, it was a gun MADE to spray bullets into people fast to kill em, it's a gun that you would use during the war. Unless this dude is like one of those guys who shoots at the range or something.

wtf makes you think a semi auto isnt a hunting gun? dont spew that bullshit if you dont know wtf youre talking about. right now the AR platform is a very common varmint rifle...and a damn good one at that. the AR design is inherantly accurate and if you pick up a bull barreled flat top model and scope it, more than likely you can shoot sub moa groups all day long (MOA..1" at 100 yds) and "all those weapons"? who are you to say how many a fella can buy or own. i own everything that guy used and many more...does that make me a potential killer? nope, just a guy exercising my right to keep and bear arms....you know, that thing called the 2nd ammendment?

It was legal. Would you want gas stations to tip off police when someone fills up a bunch of gas cans or farm stores to tip off police if someone buys a bunch of fertilizer. I could go into my local store and buy an unlimited amount of guns and ammo. We shouldn't have to worry about being suspicious of doing something legal.

I think if some of those movie goers were armed the outcome could have been different.And guns don't kill people,people do.I mean look at this guy that was infecting folks with hepatitis c for fun.If a person wants to kill alot people they don't need guns.This guy could make bombs.I mean what's to stop a person from renting a U-haul an just running over a bunch of folks...what are we going to make evreything illegal.You could poison a bunch of people just getting a job at mcdonalds for a day.Nothing you can do really.But I would rather be armed than not if confronted by a shooter.

Gas cans and fertilizer aren't really linked as "dangerous" when people think of em. Full-body protection, gas masks, SAR and ammo... is. Perhaps I am just a paranoid dude? :p

 

thats the first thing i said when the story broke. exactly why i pack a pistol and a surefire flashlight everywhere i go. in pitch dark 200 lumens of light in the eyes would have temporarily blinded him giving a person time to dump a mag into him. anyone ever been shot while wearing a bp vest? even if a bullet doesnt penetrate it, hed have been dealing with broken ribs and thatd more than likely have taken him outta the fight.
