I've seen two peds one with big Casey as the top ,the what ive is gator which is correct?

 

No one knows for sure. If i had to guess i would say big Casey

 

I wouldnt guess Big Casey, I would say Bred as states. The guy who did the breeding (who is not JC, White, IJ, or Casino) stated he took his bitch and bred her to Gator. People say but he looks like Casey, well Casey is his grandfather so I would think he would resemble him some. Not to mention when you inbreed on BJ you get Red Red nose dogs.

 

A bit of controversy always seems to seal a good dog's place in history and elevate them to legendary status, lol.

 

I heard the exact opposite. The guy who bred hmm wanted to breed big casey but jc wanted gator so he said he jus bred casey anyways thinking it would be a nicer breeding.

 

Does anyone know when Blackjack was born?

 

JC didnt own BG at the time she was sold to the guy who did the breeding. Also JC liked Casey but always stated Gator was one of the best producers he seen. Said he produced on dog per dog basis as good as Jeep, Tab or any other stud he knew of. And years ago, the guy who is out of dogs stated that he bred her to Gator, never bred her to Casey. Also when BJ was inbred to his daughters and when other kids off him were inbred the line throws Red Red Nose dogs, that would resemble Ch Gator

Thank you! My buddy bought Casey in in 95, he was on my place for some of 96 and we buried him in 97. JC told us he would produce a good % of usable stock. By the time we got him he had stopped producing. I already had his half brother at the time.

 

Big Casey wasn't even in the country at the time that breeding was made. Blackjack is off of Gator, no doubt. and like Rock n Rye said, Blackjack wouldn't have produced so many rednosed dogs is he were off of Big Casey. That silly rumor was started by some folk who I shall leave nameless.

 

mannnnnn! big casey is not the sire of blackjack. gator is the sire of black jack. at one point gator and blackjack was on the same yard (crenshaws). i have seen gator throw all black litters multiple times. he was bred to black lady and threw black pups, he was bred to donna and threw all black litters, he was bred to ch breezy and threw black dogs. so i dont understand this whole myth

 

I thought he left the country as well. But was it really him??? Hmmmmm....
