i have a guy i know saying these are his and his friends dogs i think they are dogs from books any one recognize them

 

just ask him to take you for a visit

 

They might be his dogs because any true dogman who would end up in a book would no better than using a link like that one in the first pic.

The chain connector thing in the first pic..

 

throw some lock tight in the threads of that and your good to go plus the rust as it gets older and it ain't coming off i use one on a chain set up for one of my dogs he is an easy keeper anyway but he has never gotten off and it has never give even a lil with the lock tight

 

Have used d links for years and never had one problem.

 

Its all in prefrence i use them with no problem.

 

i used em for about 10 years with no probs but only have one dog now so thats indoors

 

i have been to his yard but he had no bulldogs he told me he keeps his dogs with friends

 

he ain't no bulldogger he full of shit sounds to me

 

I never had issues with them either.....
