    Rochester man charged after puppy dies from starvation

    A Rochester man has been charged with felony aggravated animal cruelty after his 3-month old pit bull puppy died from starvation. Humane Society arrested 22-year-old Ebony Siplin of Lake Avenue in Rochester at Lollypop Farm cruelty investigators.<O:p</O:p

    On October 23 investigators removed Siplin’s 3-month-old pit bull puppy that was in critical condition. The puppy died shortly after arriving at the shelter. A necropsy revealed the puppy died from starvation, exposure to the elements, and aggravated trauma.<O:p</O:p

    If convicted Siplin faces up to four years in jail and/or a $5,000 fine.
