Who was the best Bullyson dog?

Never argued that...Just that STOMPONATO wasn't bred like Carver said he was...He was really off Ed Crenshaw's old Snow dog...But hey who knows when dealing With Maurice Carver...He supposedly make a breeding one time and somebody asked him why he done it and he said.."WELL IT WAS RAINING AND SHE WAS THE FIRST FEMALE I CAME TOO... DIDN"T WANT TO WALK TOO FAR AND GET WET"... Who knows?..That was a long time ago...

You gotta remember Maurice Carver although was the greatest breeder of the APBT IMO was also one the greatest salesmen, con-men, etc who ever lived..Who knows what was what?...He did breed some great bulldogs though..

 

Anytime you see HUNTER"S SAM AND HUNTER"S TANA in a pedigree. You can bet there are some good Bullyson dogs in there...

 

Most Jeep dogs wouldn't look like Bullyson because his daddy is either heavy Cotton Bullet or Heavy Colby depending on which pedigree you believe.. Most times he was bred to family away from Bullyson dogs so it would be odd.. However Art don't look like Eli Jr so maybe Ironhead is Art daddy also...lol...:cool:

What should it matter he was a rank cur which means all his offspring were cur bred which dont say much for the heritage of dogs from that line especially when you cross them with snooty/ch bo/ ch otis/ stuff everyone raves about kinda like mayfield said about the turd in the ice cream bucket

You are all right, probably. Everyone can care for what he likes to care for. But don't blame folks who don't care much about cur-breedings.

 

Since you bring Don's name into it Stickler, in the very first match report he turned in(I believe there were a total of 3) he said and this is close to a quote, and Maurice, showing good sportsmanship picks up. I have somewhere the mag that the report is in, and have read it with my one two eyes. I have also talked to a man that was there and told me that bullyson did not quit, so since you weren't there, I will roll with what they say to be true.

 

Kind of like this match report says lol.. But, even in this report, the times are different lol. :47 or :43, who knows for sure, unless you were there with the stop watch..

exactly icepick! that's the one bro, you would be surprised how many times people think that I made that up when they call bullyson a cur, and I defend his legacy. For the record, I'm not even a bullyson enthusiast, I just think that the dog doesn't deserve a bad rap for something he didn't do.

I hit the right key my friend. I am going by what I was told by his owner. Lets say a devastating 6xw my point was I liked him
& he was a bad Mo-Fo that was bred out the ass down from Bullyson. I also know who was the judge for several of the w's a friend of mine. Who knows who the best Bullyson dog was but Rufus was one of the best.
