VSBA show every month

yeah bulldogger i've seen that happen. congratulations to you and kush. i think some people just don't know the difference. hopefully they realize that now. how did that one female do that was so fond of me?lol i hope the next judge has the same style. i didn't get to see alot of the show, until after the weight pull was over, but what i did see, he picked most of the dogs i was thinking looked good.do you know when the next show is in al?

Asia did not place. I was embarassed when I could not get her to hush and we were all trying to talk. LOL She doesn't act like that when I get her out of the crate. There were some nice dogs in her class, which was 2-3 year old females. I was still proud because the female that took first in that class was my buddy's dog that came off of my dog Chyna.

We haven't set an exact date yet. We are thinking some time in April. We did not want to plan the show to conflict with any sanctioned shows we may want to attend. LOL The ADBA has started putting shows on their calendar. We'll give it a couple of more weeks and then decide on a date.

Was there a stink about Mr Norrod's comments? I knew when Gary Hammonds was there and was teaching class (about diet, handling, hydration, allergies, etc.) while judging some VSBA regulars got pissed at similiar comments. A similiar issue when Bob Lummus was judging there. I agree with what you said above, and of course the comments from Mr. Norrod, Hammonds, and Mr. Lummus, but it apparently ruffled feathers amongst the "know it alls."

bulldogger please let me know when ya'll decide. i'd like to make it as long as my other half isn't working. i think the VSBA is on the fourth that month, but since the aba only has it twice a year i'd like to check it out. the only complaint i've hear about norrod's judging is someone said he only picked his friends. well, he must have a whole lot of friends he didn't know about. lol yeah they were probably just not willing to listen to his advise as to how they could improve the look of their dog. i'm always willing to listen to what someone has to say. whether i agree or not, you never know there's always something to learn.

 

Wish we had monthly shows like this in Cali, we sure have the weather for it! Ya'll enjoy!

I didn't really hear anyone address his comments directly. But, there were a few, whose idea of getting their dogs ready for a show is cutting the food, that did not like his judging at all.

the show is next saturday. is anyone definitely going? we are. we're thinking about bringing the last 2 pups we got out of spook before he passed they are 4 months old now. david still hasn't officially posted the judge. did he say it was definite that exile kennels was going to judge rc? i hope it's not too cold. hope to see lots and lots of people there.

 

is anyone going to the vsba show next saturday? i think the date is march 7th. no word on the judge yet. as long as it's not snowing again we are gonna go. as always we'll be taking mojo. been working with him more this month. what do ya'll think?
