I am building 4 more mills this month Yours a Fl boys and one for the Florida Club and one to send out west. Then Im going to the mountians for a few days See some nice dogs, Grab a Hill Girl for a few days to injoy the cabin with, Then Im startin new orders when I get back. But Im Going to have yours ready its all you now.

 

J those are nice looking mills. I fit right into the category of the little man trying to compete with the deep pockets. where are you located for pickup? Or are you still behind on shipping.. Do you have a phone number I could reach you at? Thanks Brian Cochran

 

Hey J that replacement belt you sent has the same issue. One of the slats is cracked and two others are damaged beyond repair. I don't want to play the waiting game any more so how about you refund me what I bought it for plus the 200 in shipping and you can pick it up when you drop dreams items off to him. If anyone would like to see the "quality" these mills are built with, give me your cell number and I will text you pictures. J is a real cool dude and I would bet that he has great dogs. That being said, I wouldn't order a mill from him if I could do it all again. Here is a pro and con list of doing business with J.
The pros - really cool guy and without a doubt a real dog man that has the best intentions
the cons - waiting for 4-8 months on receiving your order, and once you do receive it, it isn't what you ordered. ( I ordered a well constructed mill made with a rubber belt with hard wood slats. What I got was a mill painted red white and blue and the 2 blues don't even match. The hubs wobble when they turn, the original slats were junk and my dog put his paws through 3 of the slats. This really could have injured my dog and thank God for J's sake that didn't happen. I called J and explained what had happened and he told me that he would build me a new one the next day and that the same thing happened to another mill due to the fact that he bought cheap lumber and left it outside in the rain. He sends me the replacement belt with slats and I don't get it for 19 days from the day I told him about the problem. Keep in mind that the replacement was supposed to be built the day after and shipped the day after that. All in all, as a customer I am beyond unhappy with the craftsmanship, and the quality of materials. I have been patient and counted on J to fix the issue and was even promised a replacement mill(dream was too) for being so patient, but I figured out that he just makes unrealistic promises to keep people quiet. I have no beef with J, I just want my money back and I don't think that is too much to ask and what I wrote has been my experience and I hope that others have better luck.

I asked the guy to send me something an I received in a week. Maybe the replacement belt was a rush job to please you.Give the man more time for a replacement belt. Not to mention he most likely is building other mills for people and other things. He seemed to be a straight up guy to me..

 

what in the world are you doing on that thing to break the slats? lmao how big is your dog...i havent had a single issue with mine and my biggest is 45. but also let an 85 lbs bully run mine with not even the slightest bowing... sounds crazy to me.

 

I'm sure he loves to hit his slatmill he just paid all that money for with an axe in his spare time. He just explained what happened with the slats so I think its kindve ignorant to act like its realjudges fault. He clearly stated that was solely his experience, if you are haappy with your mill then good for you but we aren't talking about your mill now are we? He is more than welcome to leave his honest feedback good or bad jus like you are right? He didn't say anything that was untrue so what's the problem?

Stinkrock, the parts on the mill are junk from the hubs to the slats so no it wasn't a rush job and that's not the reason that the last 2 belts/slats were junk. Did you not read the whole post? I told you that J told me on the phone that he used junk lumber and left it in the rain and used it anyways.

HF Mills, I have spent well over $1,000 on mills and know the difference between quality and trash and this is trash. I have seen your mills and they are top notch, these are bottom of the barrel.

Green Machine, the dog on the mill was a 41 pound male. If you leave me your number I will text you the pictures of the cracked slats and the old belt with 3 slats in a row broken in half. That is the reason he taped the slats up, cause he knew he used bullshit but sold it anyways. Everything I have said about the mill are facts. The only thing I based off of my opinion was the fact that I think J is a good dude even though he uses scrap parts on his products. I have been more than fair and have no bad feelings for the man.

 

Out of 50 mills one happends to be busted that's not a bad record for a single craftsman cut the guy some slack it looks to me like he's busting his balls to make everyone happy. peace

 

Damn...the thought "You get what you pay for!" Always comes to mind when I hear about these kinds of complaints. Compromising quality material just makes good craftmanship (which J clearly has) looks bad. Similar to RPMILLMAKER slats...
Hope it all works out in the end for you guys...it clearly is a nice spinning mill.

I Had A problem with the slats the man at the store said they were stronger than wood, and they could stand two thousand psi so I used them I built 5 mills with those slats out of those I have replaced all but one and as soon as he has a problem I will replace his. and I dont belive fdor one second you broke the new belt those are strong as hell and I have hade every fucking dog from the florida club try and break them and put bullys on it and they are fine. ... you are so fucking full of it , first off all you did was DOWN the gambler and his mills, YOU said I NEED A REAL LIGHT WT FAST EASY SPINING MILL . so I made your mill as lt wt as I could, and when you snaped a slat I went straight to tampa got your shit and started your belt , I sent it as soon as I could , I told you when and how it was sent it was delivered and I even had a tracking number. You called me three days after it was mailed and started bitching, about it not being there. I calmly told you I did send it and you had it the next day.. Then I asked you to please send the old belt back so i could show the man I got the wood from so He would work with me on the other price witch is is over 2$$ a sq ft. And Why Dont you tell every one the whole story ....., how you wanted the ligt wt fast turner that you paid 750 for plus 200 for shiping , it cost 500$ for parts to build one, you paid 750, Then I had to cover 300 on top of your transport so I worked for free to build your mill. to pay for transport for you, when I shoud have said your mill is done and you need to arange pick up. BUT NO I LOST MONEY ALL THE WAY AROUND ON YOU to make you happy and you say this shit WITCH ai dont belive a fucking bit of it execpt the part of the slat Witch I fixed. YOU ARE FULL OF SHIT!! you are JUST MAD couse I told you about your ass calling me bitching and threating me on the phone. I dont give a fuck joshy tell the world you are a little bitch that NO ONE WILL MAKE HAPPY.

 

Oh and Judge Your Mill Was a special mill built for your dogs, the whole build I would Call you and tell you what I was doing on it to make it spin as fast and easy as I could for you. I told you I would make you a real light wt belt ONE INCH WIDE SLATS I never since or before made one, I told you I was going to run the hubs real loose and weld the nuts in place to let the belt hold it in order and that way it wont have to break in so much. When you got you mill you were all happy, called me saying this is a great mill for working new dogs on it spins so easy. and also said the gambler mill had nicer slats and nicer hubs, Yes they do, they also cost alot more to build and cost a hell of a lot more to own. I think the gambler mills are the TITS I love them , I should have just let you pass when you were downing his craftsmenship, I meen Hell mel I just dont see any better product . so what happens when something goes wrong with the light wt mill You wanted and you get your panties in a bunch.You down me as well. I fixed it sorry I couldnt wiggle my nose and it be done, I dont know if you have ever built a belt but it takes two days 20 hrs to build one belt!!!! so so sorry it was not sent the next day, What I told you is that I will go get the shit and start your belt and send it out the start of the next week, Sorry it went on tues day not monday I didnt have the extra money to send it till tuesday. This is why I only make ONE mill now I dont care what any one ask for, And when they start that I want a light wt mill that my dogs can pull, I just am going to have to pass and advise them to get stronger dogs.

But no,i only build high quility mills Because of this kind of problems

Whe only delivery When we tested THE Mill,and only use THE Same products
Never try new stuff on mills For à custemor.

I think judge was tactful and respectful with his post. I don't know how much easier you could go on a person and just state the facts of your experience. Every time somebody has anything negative to say about J's mills he goes off on a rant like this. It's going to come with the territory. You're always going to have people happy with your product and not happy. Acting like a 5 year old sure doesn't help your business.

 

I don't know shit about his mills. Wouldn't waste the time. Those spring boxes are just some bullshit to rip off newbies. Had one sent to me. By someone else who had a problem with jjj. The spring box that was sent to me is a piece of shit, I don't even think the scrap yard would want it lmao.
