while you are probably right sunbeam everything is not set in stone..some top stuff have came from untested stuff and you would be surprised how many of the so called top dogmen have bred from untested dogs.i am not saying to breed from untested stuff but sometimes peoples options are limited and as stated in the zorky thread just because a dog is decent himself and from decent breeding doesn't guarantee he will be a producer...if it was that easy we'd all have good dogs

 

not talking about the odd untested dog , i am talking about generations of untested dogs.
