? Did Jeep dog ever throw any offspring as good as he was?

 

Here are the peds of some of the good ones Ch Jeep sired. Five Grand Champions and a 4XW ! Jeep was bred a lot and he produced many winning offspring. I can't say if these dogs were as good or better than Jeep but I can say I would be happy to have owned any one of these dogs!

The Jeep shit definitely turned out its share of winners and producers. Shit I put my Earl Jr/ Eli dog to a Lug/Willie bitch and had fun lol

 

There were some GREAT dogs out of Jeep, but my choice would have been Charlie...........but that's my choice even though they were litter mates, I think he would have worked better for me! I know there weren't A couple hundred of gyps breed to him, and I did see Charlie, never saw either race just A real positive feel about him and the few breeding's that were made! Also A close friend who saw them both I had a lot of respect for said Charlie would be his pick.

 

Yeah it's got a little shot of that in there lol ... Like a gumbo pot pinch of this dash of that.... Long as it taste good I don't care lmao

Just out of curiosity, do's anybody have A ratio of great vs. culls, just A ruff idea. That's what we were discussing sometime back and % is a lot especially since the days of the LARGE yards are over. Also was he bred back into high quality Colby gyps bred similar to the stud?

 

The reason I ask there was A window in time I could have bred to Charlie! It just didn't come together, sometimes timing is everything and timing was totally against me!

 

Everybody is entitled to their opinion but facts have to be stated. Jeep wasn't bred to a hundred bitches, I've spoken with JG several times in reference to Jeep and siring stock and his story has remained the same over the years and he also said a few more than 40 not a hundred or couple hundred. Charlie could be the pick for many people, but Jeep completed his scratches to win his and Charlie never faced nowhere near the competition of his littermates and when he did face a legit Ch, Charlie stood the line.

 

This is completely false, Lady Stone never met Tornado. Tornado never faced anything more than a 2xw. Her handler went into Tornado with a bet that this bitch Saddie couldn't last 30 mins and he said she would last 40, so they hooked and the bitch lasted 40 and he picked up but won the money. Then Tornado was talking about going into Blondie and because they wouldn't hook into Lady Stone he then turned and hooked in Blondie and was told if he beat Blondie he could get Tornado, they beat Blondie and he has much respect and love for Blondie said she was one of the most talented dogs he ever seen period. Then he tried to get Tornado again but for 2 years nothing, then Tornado was about to go into Ch CC and that's when Lady Stone again stepped in front and beat Ch CC in order to get a dance but for whatever reason it could not be agreed upon. Lady stone never lost and she never faced Tornado.

Thanx for the update not trying to take ANYTHING away from Jeep, just curious to A percentage est., that's what I HEARD he defiantly earned his place in history!

 

The sad part of the game is when dogs end up in hands of folks who have no intentions of using them, so hard to tell true % of dogs when they have more than 4 or 5 litters and those litters are not kept in the same back yard. Because now I keep mines and never touch him or I school him and really like him but he's the only one I got so I wont' risk losing him and so forth and so on. Don't believe he was the greatest producer % wise but once you start being bred more than 5x and not in the same yard held to the same standard % kind of go out the window. Talking to JG and others, he through really good litters of dogs, a lot of athletes who could bring some punch. Folks more so were looking for his next great offspring that would produce because that's the 1 trait he threw in high% the ability to reproduce. he produced several dogs that became ROM, Tab & Ch Tramp littermates who became ROM, Werdo & Smiley Littermates who became ROM, Ch Turtle ROM, Jill ROM, Floyd ROM, Honey Dew ROM, Rocky ROM and I know another hill of dogs who are POR or might be ROM as well. That was Jeep's greatest trait, producing dogs who could also produce.

 

She did not lose ever, I know her owner and she never lost in fact she actually is a 5xw, she won again after beating CH CC but the owner did not place the win on her name because the title meant nothing to him.. He only wanted to beat great dogs.
