He is a total idiot/asshole and has no idea of how to do deal with people. Surprising because he use to be in sales and he was quite the talker. He is doing it bigger and badder than anyone though when it comes to health and knowing right / wrong of these dogs. He has done his research to the fullest and his books are a great asset to our dogs. You don't have to like him but damn his knowledge deserves respect to a certain degree. VG puts down real deals concerning what they did with that bolio/boomerang cross. Has anyone else seen this great crossed done? Hell yeah and it works so give the man that, Poncho is hype more than anyone, probably was a goodie but not the best, but he has done well for himself. Peds online has more idiots than doggers but I think Jack is more intelligent than most and screws with people for his own enjoyment in some sick way.

 

Lol....the man keeps me laughing!!...a dude called him out this morning on there about a kennel accident that happen when Cali jack was transporting 2 dogs together in the same kennel!!..they deleted it but it was funny!!..is his dog silverbacks any good the way he says???

 

He bred in dogs that were from the similar background of my bolio/boomerang crosses, the boyles, queen type dogs and they are suppose to be good dogs. Friends of mine that know him from the dogs and not from the dogs, say they are the truth and these guys grew up around Holland yard with the redboy. I don't know for sure but I have met more people that like them than don't. Far as Silverback, I heard both but is this the new Poncho in terms of money? Don't get it twisted, jack is about $ at the same time but who isn't really now days.

 

how can a man who has never left his backyard and who also has a losing record no what a good dog is. he is disrespectful to real dogmen, and he has a serious mental problem, or i think he does the man is truly dillusional. as far as his books i will say they are great bedcause he did a lot of research, but most of those things can be found out by picking up a phone and calling the right people and getting it for free but having the book on hand is a good idea because sometimes peoiple do npt answer the phone. he claims a 90 percent win record that is ludicrous. no one not tudor, colby, carver or whoever has ever had a percentage like that so you do the math.

 

since when does copy and paste make a person intelligent? When did copy and paste become research?

 

I am not here to argue on behalf of Cali Jack but there has been a many of people in these dogs that have the knowledge but don't have the intelligence to put it together in a readable form. I have a friend who is writing a book about these dogs and I promise you he has seen it all but writing a book isn't easy by far. 1916, try something along those lines. Yes much of the information is known that jack writes about but how he is specializes most of it to our situation and dogs is true to a dogman in the 21st century. Again he is an ass but a smart one. I don't know about the box and the man, but what I have heard about the VG dogs is definitely people not from his camp. My part of the country and people I know. At least give credit when credit is due, his books are good and there hasn't been one other single dogman who has done anything close to the sort. I seen lots of dog books and this should be in the top 10 ever in the history of bulldogs. Who cares about a match report from 1954, fun to read but what does do for you? Nothing, enjoyment. I feel smarter for reading the Tips book, it caught me up on knowledge I didn't have and his money saving tips are spot on. Yes his % screwed, but who doesn't make their dogs sound better than the next but there is one way to shut him up and the dogs.

 

I love the Pitbull Bible. But I must must say it's one of the poorest written books I have ever laid eyes upon. He is very casual in the way he speaks, and I found spelling and grammatical errors the ENTIRE time I read it!! And as stated above it seems as though he just copied and pasted information into one place.

But once again, I love the book and there hasn't been another who put a book together like it. Great for newbies and people who have been in dogs also.

Regardless of what you think about Jack, you have to love the book

 

When it comes to medical information... vet information? I bet you can find the same info on many websites and different books by different authors. That info is not belonging to one specific person or group. Even the website that is always posted on here whenever a Cali Jack thread pops up... you think the the owner of that site came up with that info? Lol. I Guess if I post some information for you to get over an illness, im stealing cuz i got it off from WebMD.com... a medical site. :rolleyes: WebMD didnt invent all those ways of healing and come up with th diagnosis, they just compiled all the info into one spot. guess they are thieves too...bastards.

 

Very right venom. cccourtleve, have you seen some of the bulldog people; I am surprised 90% of them can read, we are not a very elite group to say the least. Layman terms I guess, lol.

Just for the fun of it, is there any author that has a world known book published that went through this forum without any damage? I do not judge anybody's opinion about anybody, but since I am a foreigner and far away from the American scene, I would like to know due to lack of personal opinion first hand. I have read in this forum about CaJack, Faron, FB (but no more, wonder why), probably others too. So, is there anyone that everybody respects?

 

isnt it about the dogs? How about some of the "real doggers" here putting people on blast name a few dogs he's bred you've ran through or at least seen?
