Ok.... Look people why does it matter. Everyone that has a few dogs breeds them and sells the pups. He just has a lot more room than most. I don't agree with how much he charges.....But not one person on this board cant say they just give them away.. or what ever you want to call it. If so how come so many people have websites and are on boards trying to sell pups..... Remember if they didnt sell no one would have them. All the good ones sold dogs... How come we have the blood then.. Not because they were placed but sold...NO MATTER HOW YOU LOOK AT IT SOMEWARE DOWN THE LINE DOGS WERE SOLD OR WE WOULD NOT HAVE WHAT WE GOT......LIKE I SAID EVERYONE.... I AM NOT WRONG.. not even a little......MUST I POST ADs FROM PAST TO NOW OF PUPS FOR SALE....so save that bullshit for some one else to listen to.. It comes down to this... The more people hate the more people want. But Remember this Every well known breeder Peddled a pup or dog... How come they are all over the U.S.A..............But no one sells dogs or pups....

 

imo these dogs should not be mass produced on the level he is on.do pitbulls need to be exploited more than they are?dont believe so!if you believe he not doing it for the $ your a fool!everyone sells a pup or dog but serously how many others are selling them at that level?i wont have any blood from his yard in mine due to me disagreeing with his practices,and why have something everyone else is peddling imo

 

Yes there are some horrible conditions all over the world but, your looking at 10k plus to import a dog from the US so there is less chance of that dog being mistreated imo than by someone paying 500 bucks or so.
In saying that I mean that particular dog.
When I got my first dog I knew the guy who I got him from for 2 1/2 years before I knew he had dogs then another year before he would give me one. When the dogs got out to the general public about 10 years later it was the beggining of the end for APBT's in New Zealand.
I dont believe selling a lot of dogs is a bad thing but indiscriminate selling of dogs IS (not just my opinion) a very bad thing.

 

I really don't want this thread to turn into Garner bashing. The man isn't on this board to defend himself or his breeding practices.

I'd like to thank everyone for contributing though because I do think it has great points and information on a few dogs many people might not have known much about.

 

i feel were ur coming from!!...i am not bash on TG at all, i just had to let boze know that the statement he made was foolish!!....i dont kno anything about TG so i cant say anything bad about him...im too busy worried about my yard than to worry about his...if thats wat he choose to do, so be it!..i cant stop him and nobodyelse on this site can stop him from doing wat he wants to do with his dogs...i also believe this too...if he wasnt doing it then it would be somebodyelse doing it!!...MONEY TALKS!!!....AND HIS SUPPLY IS IN DEMAND!...not for all but for alot of ppl....and if he is selling pups the way you all say he is then i cant do nothing but tilt my hat off to him cause he has to be doing something right if ppl keep going back to him...lol........so i dont hate, i congradulate!!

I would say it safe to assume TG does what he wants and not what he has to. He would have probably been succesful in whatever he chose to do.
And who is anyone to say how many animals anyone should be breeding? Should we lobby for mandatory spay/nuetering laws?:p

What I do know is that he has been breeding dogs for decades, has had plenty of success breeding champions. Yeah so I paid $800, but that 's the same as what I paid Hammonds as well.

If you have a pup for sale off a reputable dog like El Negro out of a bitch by El Negro, let me know and I'll seriously consider buying it, and I could care less if you called me to check on it because I know the pups in good hands.

There has got to be hundreds of newbees buying up his dogs all over the world, but somehow winners are coming off those sales.

You guys can call T.G. et al peddlers or whatever, but I don't need to re-invent the wheel, I'm gonna go with whoever has the breeding and success, I like. If that's your breeding then I'm gonna buy from you (peddler).

Nothings wrong with making a profit. At some point if you have success, I doubt that you will be giving your dogs away. You will want to be paid for all your hard work and time.

look dude el negro has over 300 offspring he aint no rom for your info..maybe in tgs world he is for one reason $$$$$$$$$$$$ el negro was a good dog but not a good producer #s show that.and where are all these winners coming from ?like someone once said they would have to make a c section in the sdj for the people that come out of the woodwork that know one knows and cant verify.and the classic oh there all in mexico.they dont have the sdj so whos keeping the check on roms these days???no effin body so forthat matter everybody got a yard full of them.there are so many fake champs rom and pors thats even funnier out there these days it aint funny.and if your pushin pups on a large scale and on one can verify all these champs one must use caution not just tg there others out there

 

Bottom line is T.G. has accomplished alot with the APBT but some large breeders like Hammonds and him amount to very little by their critics, despite their accomplishments they are just "peddlers". Forget about the man personally, look at the animals he breeds. Are all these people ignorant sloths that buy his dogs? Like I said if you can tell me about your champion, that you bred, I'm all ears.

Again, I'm not intending to defend T.G., he's his own man and his reputation is just his. I know the odds when buying one pup off this guy or the other, and the odds are against coming up with a "good one", but I'll take my chances with a yard(s) that have been around and established their breedings.

As for what dogs are producing what...those who know, know. If you don't have faith in a certain line of dogs, go elsewhere, there are plenty more fish in the sea. I happen to like Garner dogs but they aren't the end all be all.

See I dont need to brag about what I have on my yard,God blessed me with a nice package thank you.No one should be either.That is one of the biggest problems with the game today..The internet and drugs and in that order.Oh and belive me folks Im in the know.Dont pull that card here thank you much.
.But to send out countless emails on pups for sale to people you dont know, havnt a clue who they are is crazy..How do they get away with it?Sending Game breed dogs over state lines in this state is a felony.In or out..And if you do think there not watching you are crazy.The big names are allmost gone. fb pp ef history.and they never sent out e mails on the litters they had to the mass public.But i didnt notice he took down the artical on el negro about doing it in the toughest areans lol yea that will fool them.....
